Running thoughts...

Running in general can be a very emotional, spiritual thing. Don't ask me why, because I can't explain it. All I know is when I'm running it's almost a given that I'll cry(literally) out to Jesus thinking about people I know are with HIM, things I'm asking HIM for, things he's done for me, people in my life, the song that is playing on my Ipod, etc. Here was the playlist in my head at the marathon on Sunday:

(And remember, my blog is primarily a picture album for my family and a journal/diary, of sorts, for me, that I've always wanted to keep, but never been dedicated enough to follow through with. So, I know family and friends who read this blog may just pass on by this one...and that's ok. It's more of a therapeutic dialogue to myself for memory-sake[if that makes any sense at all!].)

Running again...yaaayyy HEAVEN don't cry MIRANDA mammie ONE DAY THANK YOU GOD FOR MY LEGS dad and mom jesus my "shister" and bro-in-law FOCUS good health SWEET HUSBAND please god, you know what my heart's desire is SO GLAD FOR FORGIVENESS the kids I WANT TO DO BETTER keep on running GOOD RHYTHM my family MY STINKY ATTITUDE help me jesus BE MORE LIKE HIM life is weird SWEAT can't wait 'til heaven BREATHE my nieces PRESS ON you can do it LOTS OF PEOPLE CHEERING the end is coming DON'T CRY beautiful sky I'LL SEE THEM AGAIN ONE DAY sun on my face THANK YOU GOD the future YOU ARE GOOD FINISH LINE do it again SO THANKFUL!!!!!!!!!

Thanks for the encouragement! It makes me feel better to be reminded that God has a plan for all that we go through - even this crazy funk of mine!!! Chris agreed to run the 1/2 with us - of course he was watching a movie and when he didn't answer the first time I asked I told him to say "Sure honey" and he did - so there! Don't forget to send me that email - I am really curious to read it! Thanks Misty - I am so lucky to have you for a friend!!

It's spiritual for those of that watch also, a real picture of life . A little encouragement at the right time,a yelling out of your name, someone coming back to run a while with you, someone hoisting you to their shoulders to carry you in, or being told to "LISTEN" the finish line is just ahead and "You Can Do It"!!!
We all need each other and boy do We Love You & YourS! Mom & Dad
