Just thought I'd both email and blog to the meager few who read my blog a prayer request. Some of my best friends, Ben and Laura, are pregnant with twin baby girls. They also have a 1 year old son named Nathan. Anyways, here's the email she just sent me today:
We got bad news late last week that Baby B's left kidney has worsened. The doctor called it polycystic with the likelihood that it will become dysplastic.We were told she has a 95% of kidney failure on this kidney. We cannot do anything until she is born, but hope that her right kidney stays normal and strong. If so, she can live a normal life. They said at birth they will probably need to remove the bad kidney.Dr. Pocsik (our pediatrician) is sending us tomorrow to Tx Children's to consult with the Pedi Urology Group. We are asking to spread the word that we are seeking prayer for complete healing according to God's Will. We pray that God will have mercy on her and give her a normal life.
Please pray for them. I know God has a plan...

I will keep them in my prayers. I was trying to explain to my kids today what "The Lord is my shepherd" means. I told them that God doesn't let you fall down and hurt yourself, but when you do, He brings you inside, cleans you off, doctors you up, and then He kisses it and makes it all better! Made sense to them!
