- Well, I'm the "author" of this blog, but it's really all about our fam! So.... We're a blended family that God brought together about 8 years ago. On October 22, 2005, after dating for 2 years, I married Chuck, who had custody of his two little ones, Maddi and Mason(whom I consider my own). A year later, we started trying to add to our family. After multiple heartbreaking attempts with IUI and IVF, and THREE failed adoption placements...on December 7, 2011, we brought our 2-week-old CHOSEN baby boy home thru the miracle of adoption. Levi Nicholas. We found ourselves in love and SO BLESSED. Only then to have the craziest thing happen just 4 months later...pregnant out of the blue. Baby sister, Kate Aliza, made her appearance November 30, 2012! My blog is a little bit of everything...adoption, infertility, family, DIY projects, kids' sports, marathons, triathalons, daily life, vacations and trying to keep God in the center of it all. The kids LOVE going through all our old picture albums, so I thought a blog would be a great adventure for us! Hope you enjoy it too! There really, really is... so much more...yet to come for us all! xoxoxo-misty:)

I was so excited when Chris said you had a blog. I started mine this summer and I love it! It looks like ya'll have been super busy with all those kid activities - fun stuff! I am glad we can keep up this way - I sure wish we lived closer!!

I know - it is such a good book! Chris just started it - I will let you know how he likes it. I have always felt God like that - but I love the expression!! It cemented things for me! I am so glad we can talk this way - miss you!!
