- Well, I'm the "author" of this blog, but it's really all about our fam! So.... We're a blended family that God brought together about 8 years ago. On October 22, 2005, after dating for 2 years, I married Chuck, who had custody of his two little ones, Maddi and Mason(whom I consider my own). A year later, we started trying to add to our family. After multiple heartbreaking attempts with IUI and IVF, and THREE failed adoption placements...on December 7, 2011, we brought our 2-week-old CHOSEN baby boy home thru the miracle of adoption. Levi Nicholas. We found ourselves in love and SO BLESSED. Only then to have the craziest thing happen just 4 months later...pregnant out of the blue. Baby sister, Kate Aliza, made her appearance November 30, 2012! My blog is a little bit of everything...adoption, infertility, family, DIY projects, kids' sports, marathons, triathalons, daily life, vacations and trying to keep God in the center of it all. The kids LOVE going through all our old picture albums, so I thought a blog would be a great adventure for us! Hope you enjoy it too! hope ya'll had a good Christmas! I was actually born with jet black hair, but it fell out and came back white blonde! It will be interesting to see what our baby will look like! Probably another mini Edwin, but maybe with green eyes. haha.
