Danbury with the FAM!

Our family had Thanksgiving 2009 at Danbury Lodge. It's owned by our church, Sagemont, and is used for Sunday night services, retreats, fishing tournaments, and family groups wanting a relaxing get-away to spend time together doing lots of different things.
We spent two nights and had a blast. Everyone got to be off of their own if they wanted to- fishing, taking a walk, a nap, OR spending time together playing games, creating things, drinking coffee, roasting marshmallows, or whatever you felt like.
But we all came back together at mealtimes....and boy were they delish!
Such great memories made at Danbury this year!

Making princess hats and tiaras...

Constant performances going on by our talented group of kiddos...

Fishing...

(Ha...yeah, right...I was only holding Papa's fishing pole for him!)

In the kitchen...

Movie Night in the Great Room! Polar Express...

Fairy Land...it was so neat in person! Dana and the kids gathered lots of stuff from the woods and created a magical Fairy Land....

Fun by the firepit...

Hangin' out and lovin' it...

Looks like great family fun! Can't believe Sagemont lets people rent it out!
