In one, incredibly long weekend we....

...WENT TO SEE BEAUTY AND THE BEAST AT MILLER OUTDOOR THEATER!

It's so much fun, especially when you have parents who go out 2 hours early to save the best seats on the hill(thanks dad and mom!).
Here's three Beauties...And Blaykie could play Beauty, don't ya think?!?!?

...STARTED A NEW PROJECT IN THE KIDS' BATHROOM.

No, that's not our bathroom, just the inspiration for what we're doing in the kids bathroom and Maddi's vanity area. It's the best way to cover up wallpaper that I've ever seen! I love the cottagy look of beadboard...can't wait to see how it turns out. I'll be keeping up with how it's going on our blog so we can look back...

Yep...that ugly tile's going away and new baseboards, too!

Nice 80's wallpaper and fixtures too...gotta go!

Beadboard going up, old mirror and lights coming down...
I love that handy husband of mine!

...ENJOYED THE POOL!

...GOT CRAFTY AND A LITTLE CRAZY WITH EASTER EGG DECORATING!

I think the smell of the dye made Mason a little crazy...oh, wait a minute...he was already CRAZY!!! I deal with that crazy kid on a daily basis...I can confirm!

...CELEBRATED EASTER AFTER CHURCH AT DAD AND MOM'S HOUSE.

(pop, gigi and ryan are missing from the pic since they had to take ryan to the airport.)

Dad and Russ cooking...
Dad led out in the partaking of the Lord's Supper.
Reese handed out the bread:
Mason poured our juice:
It had been raining all morning, but stopped just in time for our Easter egg hunt after lunch.
It was beautiful!

We made Eggimals out of plastic eggs...
Here's the mouse and dog:
Here's the pig and skunk:
The guys watched some baseball...
Then we played some very competetive volleyball on Dad and Mom's court.
Ask Mimi Carol...SHE BROKE HER HAND!
Poor Mimi! :(

...WE CLEANED AND FRESHENED UP OUR RANDA'S HEADSTONE.

The neatest part was that when we got there, there was a young mother with her daughter standing over Miranda's grave. They were a little embarrassed when we walked up to the very headstone they were at. I told them we were there to clean up and honor our very muchly missed Miranda. The lady said that she and her daughter had just been looking at this most gorgeous girl's picture and wondering how she died and who she was and if she had a family. We told them all about Miranda and how we can't wait to see her again in Heaven, and shared some sweet memories about her.

Here's the beautiful picture they were looking at...

Wow...now that was a LONG weekend packed with a bunch of stuff.
Good times, good memories...Thank you Lord!
