update...our adoption journey

for all of you who have been praying...i guess all i can say is, if you will, keep on.  birth mom did not show and cannot be reached.  this is her 2nd time to do this.  no judging here.  i sure wouldn't want to sign those papers either.  such finality.  but man, it sure puts this adoptive momma on one heck of an emotional roller coaster...as well as all of our amazing family and friends who are riding right along with us.  i'm sorry for that.

this is adoption...the real life, untouched, not pretty version.
but i know He's still in control...even when it's ugly. 
and i also know that something BEAUTIFUL and real comes out of adoption.


i still say thank you for praying...i just read all the comments on fb and here...they made me weepy and amazed at how people stand in the gap for us.  unreal.  UNreal.  yes...i said that twice.
