Happenings around here lately and a quick Adoption update...

My Dad's 56th birthday...

(notice the red line between his eyebrows...we call it the idiot line...some of the senseless 6th grade boys are pinching themselves a certain number of times and then the magical line "just appears, mom!".  good lawd.  see what we're working with here, people?!?! sigh.)

Adoption update:
Sweet little September baby is a BOY.  Things are still going further along in the process.  We're not holding our breath...we know HE knows exactly where this baby should be.  Maybe us...maybe not.  I'm learning thru this process, and I'm getting better at knowing how to "ride the rollercoaster" called adoption.  Thanks for riding along with us...
