A special night at the Cross...

Last night, Maddi, Mara and Mason were baptized at the Cross at our church. It was such a special, meaningful night. The presence of Jesus was felt in a very real way. It reminds me of the song my mom's trio used to sing...

Surely the presence of the Lord is in this place.

I can feel His mighty power and His grace.

I can hear the brush of angel’s wings, I see glory on each face.

Surely the presence of the Lord is in this place.
In the midst of His children the Lord said He would be.

It doesn’t take very many.

It can be just two or three.

And I feel that same sweet spirit that I felt oft times before.

Surely I can say I’ve been with the Lord.
Surely the presence of the Lord is in this place.

I can feel His mighty power and His grace.

I can hear the brush of angel’s wings, I see glory on each face.

Surely the presence of the Lord is in this place.
There’s a holy hush around us, as God’s glory fills this place.

I’ve touched the hem of His garment, I can almost see His face.

And my heart is over flowingwith the fullness of His joy.

And I know, without a doubt,that I’ve been with the Lord.

Surely the presence of the Lord is in this place.

That's the only way to describe it.

Lots of family and friends were able to come in person to see and even more were there in spirit. God was honored last night.

Pray for these three as they grow to be all that the Lord wants for them. And for the rest of us...let this be a reminder that every day is a fresh start with Jesus. It's never too late. Thank you Lord for that, because I need it!
