Plans...

So...for Spring Break we had plans to do this again...Me, Chuck, Maddi and Mason with my Mom and Dad(aka Papa and Nana):

My parents had already secured the same condo.  We were pumped and ready to go.  Then, club volleyball tournaments became a conflict, and as we tried to schedule other things, we just didn't feel a strong "peace" about going ahead with anything out of town.

Isn't it funny how God can direct your plans without you really even knowing it???

Yep...he was directing them all right!  Of our 4 HOMESTUDY appointments, 3 of them are 'on the books' for the week of Spring Break.  We're still gonna have some fun with the kids in between our home study visits...but it'll be things closer to home this year...Kemah, Galveston, bike riding on the trails...'together things' to make it special and memorable for them...
Special and memorable, like I remember my parents doing for my sister and I during breaks from school...which made me want to pull out some of the oldies!  Hahahaha...I LOVE looking at pictures of our lives growing up.  My mom has 100 million photo albums from the time we were born to college and beyond.  Most of these are really, really oldies, camping at Disney's campground, beach and lake fun, skiing... I just couldn't resist!

Nice socks, Dad...haha!
SO cheesy :)...(and nice pigtails, shish! hahaha!)
Pretty momma who loved her little girls(and still loves her big girls)...
Handsome Daddy who always had time for his girls...
Fun camping at Disney's Fort Walton Campground...
(love that my bathing suit was too short for my long torso,
as evidenced by the bending stripes that weren't supposed to bend! haaha!
not to mention the fact that I look like Deb from Napoleon Dynamite! suhhhhweeet side ponytail!)
After a long day on the slopes...
(yes, my mom sported somewhat of the JOE DIRT hair for a time! hahahaha!
you know you will NEVER live that down with JP as your son-n-law, mom!)
Blondie and his girls...hahahaha...and what's funny is it is was NATURAL!
(lana's mischievous look makes me wonder 'what was she about to do with that paddle'???)
Ahhhh...the coaches shorts.

I love MEMORY LANE.
And I LOVE that God really does guide our steps, even when we aren't fully aware He's doing it.

PS...thanks, all my sweet, encouraging FB friends for all your prayers and encouragement for NUMERO UNO Homestudy visit TODAY!!!!

ohhh, those are great..thanks for sharing those sweet memories. And, yes a million photos plus your mom and dad must have of y'all. That is one of the things I remember most, they always had/have their cameras and video cameras. No way you could not sense their pride and love for y'all. And, man, your daddy went topless alot--you got it flaunt it Mista' Reim. ;) More memories to be made...
