What's the latest?

Sweet people ask me everyday..."What's the latest on the adoption?" 

The only answer I can give is that IT'S A WAITING GAME...

(Especially when you accidentally shred a 4 page financial document, that we worked a week to compile info for, and have to piece it back together little shred by shred in order to read it.  Ugh.  Good thing I have such an understanding, loving husband.  And, since it's been a week, we can totally crack up about this...um, not so much when it happened, though.  Try tears, on my part anyways.)

Right now, we are getting lots of paperwork turned it, we are attending a three day training seminar next week, and have lots to do to keep ourselves busy...including working on the room, which is always fun!

Speaking of the room, here's a couple of new additions :

a new dresser that we had made...

and a project that I have been compiling mini-letters a to z for...

 I plan on painting each one and hanging them on one of the walls...haven't decided on the colors yet, but unfortunately, it seems I've got plenty of time. hahahaha!
